Confession is stating something we believe in our hearts. It is giving evidence to something we know to be true.
Confessing is not actually a prayer. It is simply speaking the word of God out of your mouth to get it into your heart. To confess God’s Word is to say the same thing as God, to speak His Word as the ultimate truth concerning our lives and to be in agreement with Him.

Confessing the word of God is one way we can overcome. Our confessions of faith remind us of God’s love and power.
