To prophesy means to speak words of power, words that are filled with the mind of God concerning an issue. God revealed to Joel that in the last days, he will pour out his spirit upon his people and they shall prophesy. It is God’s desire to empower his people with the spirit of prophecy so as to accomplish the work he’s given them.
For a prophecy to be fulfilled, faith must come to play a vital role. It is an essential ingredient in the accomplishment of prophecy and without it, prophecy might not come to fulfillment. Believers need to know how to engage their faith as they await the fulfillment of God’s promise in their lives.
