The thief does not come except to steal, to kill and to destroy.

The thief (Devil) comes only and either to steal, kill or destroy, and it’s important to note that he always come unnotified, and so he often comes when one is unprepared. This is why there is need for a spiritual covering which can only be given by the good shepherd (Jesus) who comes only to give protection and abundant life.
