A church leader needs to be a Godly leader, a role model, and a guidance giver – not only for your church members but for everyone else in the community too. They mentor and encourage people, furthering their faith and ensuring that they have a positive church experience.
A leader who lives by faith in Jesus Christ has an overarching purpose to their life and leadership which goes beyond communication, judgement and integrity. Christian leadership is that which has as its highest aim to glorify God by guiding others to grow in faith and service to God.
Christian leadership in the church needs to be modelled on Jesus who exemplified servant leadership as he grew and developed the disciples.
