Faith is the affirmative response to God’s will and Word. Man possesses faith when He takes God at His Word. Thus, faith means putting your trust in God and having confidence that he will fulfill his promises.
A faith in Jesus Christ will carry us through this life and even into the world to come. A faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of God’s only Son is far more valuable than gold. Our faith is in something eternal, not in that which can be destroyed.
