Community Power is the idea that local communities can have much greater influence and control over the plans, decisions, services, growth and impact that affect their lives.
A strong community are the answer to many of the major challenges of our time. When it functions properly, a community can be a really powerful way for people to feel accepted and validated.

This doesn’t mean that you surround yourself with people that think and do exactly the same as you, but it’s about common bonds of respect and mutual cooperation and growth in all aspects that allow us to flourish around different people.
