Honor means high respect; great esteem; and adherence to what is right or a conventional standard of conduct. As a verb, it means to regard with great respect, to fulfill an obligation, or keep an agreement.

We live in a world and culture where dishonor is present everywhere. However, the kingdom of God is a culture that embraces honor and respect for the dignity of all people.
To receive HONOR in any area of your life, you must first show HONOR. To receive a blessing – a reward – from any man or woman of God, you must first HONOR them. This is why Jesus said that “anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward.”
