Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:16)
To glorify means
* to make famous,
* to announce the worth or the value of a thing or a person,
* to compel the attention of men towards that person or that object.

Similar to a brand Ambassador, It is our obligation as children of God that we present our works and it glorifies God. It is a thing that your light will so shine before men, it is another thing that your good works will glorify the Father, So, it is important that your good works must compel people to glorify God.
If your results are not bringing glory to the kingdom, but only showcasing you and making you shine before men, then
1. We need to check if you are a true representative
2. If you’re indeed a representative, then it means you are ignorant of somethings you need to know to be a good ambassador that is expected of you.

Until your good works that is bringing result begins to bring glory to God and not just shining before men, you cannot secure God’s commitment over that result.
