As Christians we handle the subject of death better than most non-religious people because we are not afraid of death. The Bible lets us know that there is a reason why Jesus came down to earth and confronted death, and destroyed Satan’s control over death.

For us Christians, Satan is no longer in control of the process of death, Christ is, and therefore we have nothing to be afraid of. (Revelations 1:17-18)
Surely there can be no more ultimate perspective on Christ’s resurrection “for us and for our salvation” than this. The Bible assures us of an ultimate resurrection, when we believers will live with Christ in the New Heavens and the New Earth.
