Our God longs to have a relationship with us more than we long to have a relationship with Him.
He loves and desires that man would have an intimate relationship with him, even more than how man pants for Him.

Yet, as much as He does, a desire from the side of man is also a major requirement for this intimacy to occur. The longing of the man, his panting and desires are what will prompt him to open the door of his heart and of his attention to the Lord to come in.
One of the things that can bring revival is the restoration of our hunger fir God. Our hunger fir growth, for God’s word, for worship, for intimacy, for God’s presence.
