Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly extends the invitation, “Seek Me.” This invitation is for every person on earth. Are you an unbeliever? God is saying to you, “Seek Me.” Are you a believer? Have you already come to God through accepting the sacrifice of Jesus Christ? God’s Word to you is, “Seek Me.”
Why does our Creator tell us to seek Him? Is He hiding from us? Not at all. In fact, His Word (the Bible) reveals that “He is not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:27).

God’s Word also reveals that God is Father, and He has the heart of a father. Our heavenly Father tells us to seek Him because He desires a relationship with us. When God says, “Seek Me”, He is in effect saying, “Come close to me. Let Me reveal to you who I am. I want you to know Me. Let us enjoy sweet fellowship together.”
This is what delights our heavenly Father’s heart: that we pursue Him. Not half-heartedly, and not for what we can get from Him, but with our whole heart and the goal of enjoying a deeper relationship with Him. Therefore, listen and learn about the fundamentals of seeking God.
