“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, Redeeming the time[make use of every opportunity], because the days are evil”. Eph 5:15-16
Time is an essential part of human life that must be used wisely.
Redeem means “to buy up for oneself” or “buy up an opportunity.” When connected to “time,” it means “to buy or take advantage of an opportunity.” Since we are dealing with time, and it inexorably passes on, we must make the most of each opportunity. If an opportunity is missed, it cannot be recalled.
Man has two types of time in his life time, One is chronos, and the other is Karios
Chronos means the passage of time, but Karios means a particular set time, a prophetic time, an opportune time. it only comes ones in a while.
Chronos moments prepared man for is Karios moments, the investment made in everyday Kronos will determine the outcome of Karios.
When the Karios moment is maximized, a man can be victorious in his life time, and also when it’s missed, it may cause a lot of set back for a man.
The Karios time will never announce itself, believers must be able to discern and maximize it.
Belivers must be like the sons of Isaka that understands time and seasons and knows how to maximize each time (Chronos and Karious), and to do this each time of life must be Redeemed.
How then can time be Redeemed?
